Singapore funds market downgraded for lack of disclosure
Asset managers are only required to disclose partial portfolio holdings, no requirement to disclose the names of portfolio managers.

THE Singapore funds market has been downgraded by Morningstar from "average" to "below average" for its lack of full disclosure of portfolio holdings and the absence of disclosure of portfolio managers' names.
Morningstar, however, said Singapore funds have improved in some respects, such as the disclosure of trail fees. In the previous 2017 study, Singapore was rated "average".
Morningstar's biannual Global Investor Experience report assesses the experience of mutual fund investors in 26 market on six key disclosure dimensions.
