While one may invest with cash, the Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) is an effective way to grow our retirement nest egg.
In addition to asset accumulation, transferring cash into the SRS also helps us to save on our income taxes. For Singaporeans and permanent residents (PRs), the maximum that can be transferred annually into the SRS is S$15,300. This was last increased in 2016.
