Competing with the world's best

WHICH are the world's best buildings? Architecture buffs will know when the World Architecture Festival (WAF) takes place from Oct 1 to 3 at the Marina Bay Sands.

A highlight of the event is the WAF awards, the world's largest architectural awards programme. This year, there were entries from more than 50 countries, with over 250 entries from across various categories shortlisted. In Singapore, 11 completed projects made it to the list. Besides Wat Ananda Metyarama, Sandcrawler, Goodwood Residence, Oxley Residence and Christ Methodist Church, the other projects are:
