There are some offices that will win hands down for their stylish interiors or quirky designs, but these offices go beyond mere looks. They have also won awards for being green. By Tay Suan Chiang

WORKING in the Credit Suisse office at One@Changi City is like working in a garden. There are plants - real and artificial ones all around, some hanging from the ceiling, others in planters beside workstations and in one section of the office, the desks are separated by hedges. And if that's not enough, the office carpet comes in shades of green too.
But the office, which was awarded a Platinum ranking in the Green Mark for Office Interior scheme by the Building and Construction Authority, is green more than just in looks.
