Team Emerio emerge victorious with the highest score of 104 after count back. By Justine Moss
AFTER four rounds of this year's BT Corporate Golf League, twice-defending champions Team SunMoon have opened up an almost insurmountable lead of 17 points over second-placed Team Emerio and SPH Sultans of Swing.
Yet they didn't score the highest team points for the round held at Jurong Country Club - that honour went to Team Emerio on count back over Team Citi. For their efforts, they each took home a bottle of red wine sponsored by Scallywag by Le Vigne. Says the team's captain Harish Nim: "We've been at it for three years, and this year apart from the scoring system, a couple of guys have put in some extra work. We were wondering what target we should set ourselves if we do well, and said top five. It's been amazing."
One key player in yesterday's round was Sreerangan Kurup who scored 36 points to take Best Stableford score prize - a Business Times-sponsored trophy, ilLido dining vouchers sponsored by ilLido and a red wine hamper sponsored by Le Vigne.
