Audi's new Q8 raises the bar for luxury sport utility vehicles (SUVs) with a convincing blend of style, sportiness, and surprising smoothness

TO THE Chinese, 8 is a lucky number. That also rings true with regard to Audi, since it's only the flagship models of the German luxury brand that have this digit in their name.
For example, the Audi A8 luxury limousine is the apotheosis of regular Audis. Its newest version debuted in Singapore at the Audi Brand Experience event in October with enough new-fangled technology to be a tech trade show on wheels.
The Audi R8 supercar is the brand's fastest, most powerful vehicle, and it heads the Audi Sport lineup of high-performance vehicles that include the S and RS models.
