Supercycle price surges . . . will inflation ease?

    AS we emerge out of the pandemic logjams and economies start adjusting back to normal, prices everywhere are moving up. Food prices are rising at their fastest in many parts of the world, while several commodities are shooting up in a so-called supercycle.

    In our Brunch feature tomorrow, economists weigh in on what is driving these movements today and whether this a portent of things to come, or if the inflationary forces we are feeling are the temporary after-effects of market dislocations.
