CAPITALAND on Tuesday announced that Lucas Loh will be relinquishing his current role as the group's China president, effective Wednesday.

The 54-year-old will thereafter take on an advisory, non-executive role as CapitaLand's China chief representative.

Jason Leow, the group's Singapore and International president, will take on the oversight responsibilities for the group's development-related projects, including those in China, said CapitaLand in a bourse filing.

Mr Loh was appointed to the position of China president in September 2018, and has been leading CapitaLand's business in China, as well as driving growth in its investment management business.

Shares of CapitaLand closed flat at S$3.74 on Tuesday.
