AS part of its 120th anniversary celebrations in Singapore, Citi announced on Monday (Feb 28) that it has partnered with Money FM 89.3 on a series of interviews featuring Singapore companies that will air for 5 weeks on the same time slot, starting from Tuesday, 6.15 pm.

The series, titled Inspiring Entrepreneurs, will feature 5 companies - Mercantile Pacific Group, Omni-Plus System, Everlife Holdings, Best World International and LingoAce.

It will consist of 15-minute long episodes as Money FM's senior producer-presenter Rachel Kelly talks to senior members of the companies' management teams about their unique paths to success abroad, the lessons they've learnt and their advice for others seeking to expand their business.

Lin Hsiu Yi, Asean and Singapore head of Citi Commercial Bank said Citi is "delighted" to provide companies with a platform to share their unique stories and experiences growing globally.

For instance, Chinese tutoring edtech company LingoAce's founder Hugh Yao started the company after he struggled to find Chinese language online tutoring for his son. Since then, the company has been recognised in the 2021 edition of GSV EdTech 150, a list that recognises transformative private companies in education.

The featured companies have also expanded into different parts of the world, like advanced materials engineering company Omni-Plus System, which has a presence in 8 countries and was the first Singapore company to list on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
