HRnetGroup announces retirement of lead ID, new leadership appointments

RECRUITMENT company HRnetGroup said its lead independent non-executive director Sin Boon Ann would be retiring on Apr 28 to allow for a renewal of the board.
Sin, who was chairman of the group’s nominating committee, will also cease to be a member of its audit and remuneration committees after his retirement, the company said on Monday (Apr 18).
In a separate announcement, HRnetGroup also announced new leadership appointments as part of its leadership development and succession planning.
Its executive director and chief legal officer Adeline Sim was promoted to be executive director and chief corporate officer, effective Apr 1. In her new role, Sim oversees the management of the technology, communications, and legal functions of the group.
Sim also serves on the group’s investment committee, co-leads its sustainability committee and is a member of the compliance committee.
Meanwhile, chief financial officer (CFO) Jennifer Kang was promoted to group CFO effective Apr 1, which “reflects the expansion of her role” amid the group’s acquisition and investments over the years since it first listed on the Singapore Exchange in 2017.

Kang also serves on the group’s investment, compliance, and sustainability committees.
On the new appointments, HRnetGroup’s founding chairman Sim Yong Siang said: “Beyond their roles and functions, they are leaders of change constantly instigating improvements, partnering our leaders to achieve even greater breakthroughs.”
Shares of HRnetGroup closed up S$0.01 or 1.2 per cent at S$0.82 on Thursday.
