HE HAD barely taken over the reins as Prudential's chief executive when Singapore heightened its alert level for the Covid-19 outbreak. Anticipating safe-distancing measures to be further tightened, Dennis Tan accelerated his face-to-face meetings with agency partners and staff departments.
When Singapore implemented its partial lockdown, under which non-essential activities outside the home were suspended, he transformed his home into a "mini recording studio". He acquired light stands and tripods with the help of his colleagues, and roped in his daughters to help with artistic direction.
