HOME-GROWN Kingsmen Exhibits Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of SGX-listed Kingsmen Creatives Ltd, has shown its mettle by winning the Business Event Service Provider of the Year award for the second consecutive year.

This year, Kingsmen has been awarded for helping with the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global held here last year. The company won the same award last year for being the official builder for Tax Free World Association Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference 2013.

The BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global was held in the Asia-Pacific region for the first time in the Women's Tennis Association's (WTA) 44-year history.

The prestigious season finale took place in Singapore's new Sports Hub. This also marked the tournament's first foray into South-east Asia, making tennis even more accessible to tennis fans in this part of the world.

"Apart from being a service provider and official sponsor of BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global, we were privileged and humbled to be a part of this illustrious sporting event that raised Singapore's profile. We believe that this project is an excellent reflection of Singapore's ability to host world-class events," says Anthony Chong, managing director, Kingsmen Exhibits.

The company's extensive experience with and in-depth knowledge of large-scale events such as the 2010 Youth Olympic Games and the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix played a big part in its successful execution of the WTA Finals

"Constant communication and our dedicated team of experienced professionals were also a crucial factor when it came to dealing with site constraints and logistical challenges during the preparation stage. Our team conducted regular meetings to keep track of the build-up progress and went the extra mile to offer value-added solutions to our client and their customers," he adds.

These were the key contributing factors that enabled Kingsmen to transform an ordinary cark park into a stunning, glass-fronted Racquet Club for the event. In addition, it designed a host of lifestyle activities that engaged tennis enthusiasts and the public.

"By studying various aspects of tennis alongside project deliverables, we tapped on our extensive brand activation experience and came up with interactive engagement ideas for the WTA Fan Zone at the Singapore Sports Hub's OCBC Square," says Mr Chong.

"The WTA Finals also set new records across the web and social media, with hashtag #WTAFinals and related terms being mentioned more than 300,000 times as a result of our team's efforts."

In fact Kingsmen demonstrated customer-focused approach and versatility in accommodating the diverse requirements of the organiser and contributed to the players' and public's experience.

Working closely with the client at every stage, the company worked round the clock to design, conduct site inspections, procure materials, obtain permits, and complete the build within a tight timeline. In addition, it invested in the latest range of furniture to complement the Racquet Club, Players' Lounge and Media Centre's contemporary designs and created a special furniture catalogue for the client's convenience.

"These are some examples of how Kingsmen's business philosophy is founded on being design-led, quality and service-driven. We continuously strive to maintain a rewarding relationship with our clients and support them in meeting their goals, because their success is our success," Mr Chong highlights.

Business event service providers such as Kingsmen typically work with clients by acting as their local partner to manage every aspect of their event from research and design development, production and events management, to warehousing and logistics. Companies like Kingsmen work with individual exhibitors and the exhibition organiser simultaneously to ensure the smooth running of the event.

Kingsmen's says that it differentiates itself from other business event service providers in several ways.

"Quality service, design, and production capabilities are our competitive edge. Through research-based content development, we bring brands to life. We craft innovative and inspiring brand or event experiences by aligning our client's brand, marketing strategies and objectives with identified audience segments," says Mr Chong.

"Our unique 'one-stop' shop concept provides clients the convenience of having a single point of contact for a complete range of services to meet their strategic marketing goals and needs. By having full fledged facilities in almost every major city in the region, we ensure consistency in messaging, branding and quality standards for the execution of projects across geographical boundaries. Our holistic capabilities, combined with logistics infrastructure and support, ensure timely delivery and installation."

As the industry continues to grow, clients' expectations have changed. There is a constant need for new experiences. Beyond excellent product delivery and competitive prices, Kingsmen says that it adds value through the quality of care that it provides to clients.

"Moreover, our dedicated team of professionals is always plugged in to the latest industry trends and developments - enabling us to offer clients end-to-end solutions that meet their needs. By adopting a spirit of quality, innovation and creativity, Kingsmen has been able to differentiate itself in the industry," says Mr Chong.
