SINGAPORE'S securities depository system has moved a step closer to being unified on the national one-step financial planning service, SGFinDex (Singapore Financial Data Exchange).
From Feb 1, all Singaporeans and permanent residents with active individual and joint Central Depository (CDP) securities accounts can access CDP Internet using SingPass to view their CDP securities portfolios and access account statements online, said CDP in an email to account holders on Thursday.
This service will be available by default. Work pass holders who are eligible for SingPass will be provided with the same access by mid-2022. Corporates, trustees and foreigners may apply to access CDP Internet using their user ID.
