LUXURY watch retailer Cortina Holdings said that it detected unauthorised activity on one of its servers on Sunday (Jun 4) evening.
In response to queries from The Business Times, the company said that while it had notified all affected parties whose data were affected and had set up a dedicated team to address their concerns, it was “unable to disclose the number of customers affected by the incident”.
It was also unable to share more information about what was being done with regard to data already obtained by the hacker, as investigations are still ongoing.
Cortina had disclosed the cybersecurity incident on Tuesday.
The company said that it had contacted its external information technology consultant to assist with its containment and remedial efforts. It added that it has informed the authorities, including the Singapore Police Force and the Personal Data Protection Commission, of the incident.
The company’s counter was trading flat at S$3.66 as at 9.40 am on Thursday.
