FORMER Singapore Exchange (SGX) global head of equity capital markets Mohamed Nasser Ismail has joined growth advisory firm JP Wilson, after leaving the local bourse at the end of October.
Having joined in November, he heads JP Wilson’s newly established capital markets strategy arm, which advises companies in South-east Asia on raising capital through private or public capital markets, managing partner Wilson Chew told The Business Times.
This includes advising clients on how to best approach an initial public offering (IPO), which requires “meticulous planning and timely execution”, said Dr Chew, who is also group chairman of local petrochemical company Fortrec Group.
