[SINGAPORE] The Golden Village cinema in Tiong Bahru Plaza is set to shutter when its current lease ends, with its last day of operations on Mar 29.
“Patrons may continue to enjoy the Golden Village experience at nearby locations, including GV Funan, GV Cineleisure and GV Grand, located at Great World,” Golden Village said in a statement on Mar 25.
GV Tiong Bahru has been in operation since 1994, with the operator adding that movie-goers can head to its other cinemas that are nearby – such as in Funan, Cineleisure in Orchard and at Great World – after the closure.
“The company extends its heartfelt appreciation to patrons, partners, and the Tiong Bahru community for their continued support throughout the last 32 years,” Golden Village added. THE STRAITS TIMES
