OCBC’s Internet and mobile banking services fully restored after two-hour outage
[SINGAPORE] OCBC customers experienced difficulties logging into the bank’s mobile application on Thursday (Nov 27).
On outage tracking site Downdetector, more than 1,400 reports had been made from around 8.20 pm on issues relating to mobile banking and access to the app.
After almost two hours of outage, OCBC said in a Facebook post that Internet banking and mobile banking services for its consumer and business banking customers had been fully restored.
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank our customers for their patience and understanding. We would like to assure all customers that no customer data was compromised and that their monies remained safe during this time,” it said.
Earlier in the evening, OCBC said the Internet banking and mobile banking channels for its consumer and business banking customers were unavailable.
Its ATM and card services were not affected.
