PropNex appoints new independent director in board reshuffle
The appointment of Danny Lim, a partner in Rajah & Tann, is effective from July
[SINGAPORE] Property agency PropNex has appointed Rajah & Tann partner Danny Lim as its new independent non-executive director; he takes on the role from Jul 1.
The 53-year-old was also appointed as the member of the audit and nominating committee, as well as chairman of the remuneration committee. He takes over Dr Ahmad Bin Mohamed Magad, who will chair the audit committee.
A bourse filing on Tuesday (Jun 23) listed Lim as also being a director in several other listed companies, including pawnbrokering chain ValueMax Group , employment-services provider Advancer Global , real estate company Stamford Land , coffee shop operator Kimly and electrical products retailer Choo Chiang .
He is expected to retire from the boards of Stamford Land, Kimly and Choo Chiang at their respective annual general meetings in July, January 2027 and April 2027.
PropNex shares closed 1.1 per cent or S$0.02 lower on Tuesday at S$1.86, before the news.
