[SINGAPORE] Soon Su Lin will step down as the CEO of Frasers Property Singapore on Oct 1, 2026, after close to a decade at the group. She will move to a group advisory role after stepping down, the property group announced in a bourse filing on Friday (Jul 3).

She will be succeeded by CapitaLand Development’s Tan Wee Hsien, 55, who is scheduled to join the company as CEO designate on Sep 8 this year.

The announcement comes a week after Frasers Property announced a S$2.1 billion restructuring of its Frasers Hospitality Trust portfolio. The hospitality trust was privatised last year.

Following this planned succession, Soon, 66, will serve as an adviser to support Frasers Property Ltd group CEO Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi.

While relinquishing her role as the head of the Singapore business, she will continue to serve as a director on the boards of One Bangkok Co and Frasers Centrepoint Asset Management, which manages the Frasers Centrepoint Trust.

Soon has been with the Frasers Property group for more than nine years and has led the Singapore operations since 2022. Before returning to the city-state, she was the CEO of development at Frasers Property in Thailand.
