THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Wednesday (Oct 25):
Sembcorp Industries : The group’s wholly-owned subsidiary Sembcorp Utilities on Tuesday signed a joint development study agreement with Indonesian utility company PT PLN to explore the feasibility of green hydrogen production in Indonesia for export to Singapore. The facility can produce up to 100,000 tonnes of green hydrogen per annum in Indonesia, and the hydrogen will be exported via a subsea pipeline to Singapore. Shares in Sembcorp Industries closed up 0.4 per cent or S$0.02 higher at S$4.60, before the announcement.
Mapletree Logistics Trust (MLT) : The trust manager on Tuesday announced a distribution per unit of S$0.02268 for the second quarter ended September, 0.9 per cent higher than the S$0.02248 in the corresponding period the previous year. A 4.2 per cent higher amount distributable to unitholders is mainly attributable to higher revenue from existing assets and a divestment gain of S$8.8 million during the quarter. Units of MLT ended trading up 2.8 per cent or S$0.04 at S$1.49, prior to the announcement.
