THIS year’s National Energy Efficiency Conference (NEEC) offers a packed agenda of keynotes, sector-focused tracks and technology showcases to help companies move more quickly in their net-zero journeys.

NEEC 2025 – held at MAX Atria, Singapore Expo on Oct 1 and 2 – comes at a pivotal moment. With energy costs volatile and global supply chains under pressure, efficiency is increasingly a matter of business resilience as well as environmental responsibility.

The conference will be co-organised for the first time by the National Environment Agency and Energy Efficiency Technology Centre. It is supported by the Economic Development Board, Energy Market Authority, Enterprise Singapore and National Climate Change Secretariat.

With the theme “Advancing Energy Efficiency for Net Zero: Connecting Regional and Global Action”, NEEC 2025 aims to bring together regional and international expertise to address key industry developments and solutions in energy sustainability and net zero.

Through a carefully curated mix of keynote presentations, plenary sessions and breakout tracks, the conference will showcase industry best practices, innovative solutions, policies, financing mechanisms, applied research, and green-skills development.

NEEC 2025 will feature case studies from various sectors, both locally and globally, demonstrating practical pathways towards net zero.

The opening day will feature the Energy Efficiency National Partnership – or EENP – Awards ceremony, followed by a keynote session on the critical role of energy efficiency in accelerating the net-zero transition. Meanwhile, plenary sessions will cover green manufacturing, sustainable production and the role of financing and global partnerships.

The second day will dive into sector-specific tracks. Small and medium-sized enterprises will gain practical insights on navigating the transition, while other sessions explore decarbonisation in transport, energy-intensive industries, and sustainable food production. Applied research, green skills and innovation in energy management will also be in focus.

The EENP Awards aims to fosters a culture of sustained energy efficiency improvements and GHG management in the industry, and encourage companies and individuals to adopt a proactive approach towards energy and GHG management by identifying and sharing best practices for all to emulate.
