Apple to debut passwords app in challenge to 1Password, LastPass

APPLE will introduce a new homegrown app next week called Passwords, aiming to make it easier for customers to log in to websites and software, according to sources with knowledge of the matter.

The enhancement will require Face ID or Touch ID when accessing stored passwords, changing Apple ID settings, looking at payment information and disabling Find My iPhone.
