Singapore High Court orders winding-up of embattled Qoo10; liquidators appointed

THE Singapore High Court on Nov 11 ordered beleaguered online marketplace Qoo10 to be wound up and for liquidators from AAG Corporate Advisory to take over management of the insolvent company.

The company will be allowed to make payments to fulfil outstanding claims, but cannot take on new payment obligations, says MAS.

It was earlier reported that police were investigating the e-commerce platform and its subsidiary after complaints of delayed payments and delivery disruptions

The police said on Sep 12 that reports were lodged against Qoo10 and Qxpress and that they are investigating.
