Hublot, Tag Heuer and Cartier’s newest novelties prove that watches don’t always need to be round to be beautiful
By his own admission, Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe notes that square is not a shape many watchmakers “dare (to) tackle” and “no one has known how to rework (it) for decades” because of the geometrical challenges it poses.
For a start, waterproofing such a timepiece will be a feat.
Well, trust Hublot to give it a shot and so, the Square Bang is born.
