[SINGAPORE] After pink and flamingo blue, the Tudor Black Bay Chrono adds another colourful new member to the family with the Black Bay Chrono 39 “Bumblebee”.

The bright yellow dial paired with contrasting black sub-dials explains the watch’s nickname, while 39 refers to the size of the case.

Incidentally, this is a more compact interpretation of the Black Bay Chrono, one that many enthusiasts have been asking for given that the previous pink and blue iterations were much chunkier at 41 mm.

More importantly, Tudor has not simply shrunk the watch and called it a day. The brand has refined several details, including redesigned Snowflake hands for better readability, revised chronograph pushers inspired by earlier Tudor models, and a new three-link bracelet equipped with the brand’s T-Fit micro-adjustment clasp.

Power comes from the COSC-certified MT5813 chronograph calibre, which offers a 70-hour power reserve and features a column wheel and vertical clutch architecture.

The Bumblebee draws on the colourful chronographs that have appeared throughout Tudor’s history, including a bright yellow model from the 1990s nicknamed the “Tiger”.

For its fourth cigar-inspired creation, Bell & Ross has collaborated with fellow French maison ST Dupont for a 150-piece limited edition watch that comes complete with accessories.

Design-wise, the BR-05 Chrono ST Dupont blends the urban design language of the BR-05 with the warm brown-and-gold palette traditionally associated with fine cigars.

The two-tone 42-mm chronograph is housed in steel and rose gold, powered by the automatic BR-CAL.326 movement with a 60-hour power reserve, and features a sunray brown dial accented by rose-gold coloured numerals, indices and hands.

This collaboration aims to draw parallels between watchmaking and cigar culture, both of which place a premium on craftsmanship, ritual and connoisseurship.

The partnership extends beyond the watch itself, as each timepiece is delivered in a Macassar ebony presentation box lined with Spanish cedar and convertible into a humidor capable of storing up to 50 cigars.

Completing the set are a matching ST Dupont Ligne 2 lighter and cigar cutter finished in complementary brown, gold and steel tones.

Rado is leaning into colour this summer, giving its DiaStar Original Skeleton a fresh injection of personality through three limited-edition models in blue, green and red.

While skeletonised watches often take themselves too seriously, these new releases feel noticeably more playful. Each version uses a brightly coloured annular dial and matching rubber strap to frame the exposed mechanics beneath, creating a timepiece that not only makes an impact visually, but also showcases the movement at the same time.

All three watches are powered by Rado’s automatic calibre R808, which features an antimagnetic Nivachron hairspring and a generous 80-hour power reserve.

Given that the World Cup is just around the corner, some might even see certain team colours in the collection. The timing is purely coincidental, but it is hard not to see Brazil in the green/yellow combo, reigning European champion Spain in the red version, and four-time champs but third consecutive tournament-absentee Italy in the blue edition.

Beyond the colours, the watches retain many of the signatures that have defined the DiaStar over the decades, including the distinctive oval-shaped case and Ceramos bezel. Each version is limited to 555 pieces and comes with a specially engraved caseback and presentation packaging.
