    I HAVE spent over two decades deploying artificial intelligence (AI) in high-stakes environments.

    The pattern is clear: Hype promises overnight transformation, but the real wins come from making AI reliable, invisible and accountable.

    Yet right now, the uncomfortable truth is staring us down. AI isn’t just augmenting work. In many cases, it is quietly replacing the cognitive core of what we do.
