CBRE appoints Luke Moffat as new Asia-Pacific head of advisory and transaction services
COMMERCIAL real estate services firm CBRE has announced the appointment of Luke Moffat as its new Asia-Pacific head of advisory and transaction services (A&T), effective immediately, it said in a press statement on Tuesday (Mar 1).
As the new regional head of A&T, Moffat will oversee a team of more than 2,000 professionals across 15 markets and commercial real estate sectors including office, retail, industrial and logistics, supply chain, data centres, workplace strategy, and consulting.
He will also be relocating from Shanghai, China to Singapore. He had been based in the Chinese city as CBRE's regional managing director of Eastern China and head of A&T in Greater China.
The new appointment will not be his first role in Singapore. Prior to joining CBRE, Moffat was also a director at asset management company BlackRock in Singapore, where he led the leasing and marketing for Asia Square, one of the largest mixed-use developments in Asia.
Moffat succeeds Manish Kashyap, who has taken on a senior leadership role in CBRE as global president of A&T.
