Keppel DC Reit: AJBU The real estate investment trust will invest S$89.7 million into bonds and preference shares of an M1 unit that will hold S$580 million worth of M1's network assets. Shares of Keppel DC Reit closed up 1.3 per cent or S$0.03 or at S$2.39 on Thursday (Oct 14), before the announcement was made.
Azeus Systems Holdings: BBWThe Singapore Exchange on Thursday afternoon flagged "unusual price movements" in the counter. Azeus responded to the exchange's query on Friday morning, stating it was informed by major shareholder Lee Wan Lik that he has been approached by a third-party investor to explore an investment in the company. Lee has not entered into any specific discussion nor signed any binding investment agreement with the third-party investor. Shares of Azeus rose 20.5 per cent or S$1.60 to finish at S$9.40 on Oct 14.
Sembcorp Marine, Centurion Corp: S51,OU8 Westlite Accommodation, a unit of Centurion Corp operating a workers' dormitory that was the scene of a minor fracas, said on Thursday (Oct 14) that over the past week there has been a spike in Covid-19 cases detected among Sembcorp Marine (Sembmarine) workers. Due to the large numbers, there have been delays in conveyance to recovery facilities and healthcare facilities. Shares of Sembmarine closed lower by S$0.001 or 1.3 per cent to S$0.08 on Thursday. Shares of Centurion closed 1.5 per cent or S$0.005 higher at S$0.33.
Trading halt: Ara Logos Logistics Trust K2LU and ESR-Reit J91U are proposing to merge in a S$1.4 billion deal. ESR-Reit is proposing to pay S$0.95 per ARA Logos unit - comprising S$0.095 in cash and 1.6765 new ESR-Reit units, to be issued at S$0.51 apiece. Separately, Beng Kuang Marine BEZ and Abundance International 541 called for trading halts pending announcements, before the market opens on Friday.
ARA Logos units closed 1.6 per cent or S$0.015 higher at S$0.935, while ESR-Reit closed flat at S$0.465. Beng Kuang Marine ended S$0.003 or 3.1 per cent higher at S$0.10. Abundance International closed up S$0.001 or 2.6 per cent higher at S$0.04.
