Stocks to watch: OUE C-Reit, Sim Leisure, Venture Corp, EuroSports Global, Grand Venture

THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Thursday:

OUE Commercial Reit (OUE C-Reit): TS0U : TS0U 0% The real estate investment trust (Reit) will be included in the FTSE EPRA Nareit Global Developed Index with effect from Sept 20 this year, announced its manager on Thursday morning. Designed to track the performance of listed real estate companies and Reits worldwide, the index incorporates Reits as well as real estate holding and development companies. Units of OUE C-Reit ended flat on Wednesday at S$0.41.

Sim Leisure Group: URR : URR 0% The theme park operator on Thursday said it plans to sell new shares to two of its controlling shareholders at a discount of 5.9 per cent, to raise S$3.6 million. If the proposed subscription is completed, the shareholders' stakes in the company will increase to 26.95 per cent and 25.74 per cent. Shares of Sim Leisure ended 2.2 per cent or 0.5 Singapore cent lower at 22 cents on Wednesday.

Venture Corporation: V03 The technology solutions provider on Wednesday announced the appointment of Temasek-owned Vertex Venture Holdings' group president and chief executive Chua Kee Lock as the company's independent non-executive director. Shares of Venture ended Wednesday at S$19.17, up S$0.01 or 0.1 per cent, before the announcement.

EuroSports Global: 5G1 The luxury car distributor announced on Wednesday evening that Joshua Goh Yi Shun, the son of its former chief executive, will take up the role of deputy CEO and director of electric motorcycle maker EuroSports Technologies, a subsidiary of the company. Shares of EuroSports Global ended Wednesday at 20 Singapore cents, down 0.5 cent or 2.4 per cent, before the announcement.

Grand Venture Technologies: JLB The fabricated metal products manufacturer on Wednesday said it is intending to transfer its listing to the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange, from its current listing on the Catalist board. Shares of Grand Venture closed at S$1.25 on Wednesday, up S$0.02 or 1.6 per cent, after the announcement.
