Stocks to watch: Sembcorp, Sabana Reit, ProsperCap
THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Monday (Sep 16):
Sembcorp Industries : The group’s subsidiary Sembcorp Green Hydrogen India is “in discussions” with Indian oil and gas company Bharat Petroleum Corporation to enter into a definitive joint-venture agreement for renewable energy and green hydrogen projects across India. The partnership will aim to support India’s long-term energy transition and development goals, said Sembcorp on Friday. Shares of the group closed 0.2 per cent or S$0.01 higher at S$5.16, before the announcement.
Sabana Industrial Real Estate Investment Trust (Sabana Reit): The Reit’s trustee has asked for the extraordinary general meeting to vote on the proposed internal manager directors to be held at a later date, when its submission to the Monetary Authority of Singapore “is in more advanced stages”. In its letter on Friday, the trustee also urged the requisitionists to withdraw the amended requisitioned resolutions as they lack clarity. Units of Sabana Reit closed 1.4 per cent or S$0.005 lower at S$0.36, before the news.
