The race to SME greenness
Singapore is hoping to uplift the sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by leveraging their big customers and lowering entry barriers.
SMEs are increasingly realising that sustainability is not merely a stepping stone to qualify for green supply chains, but also a necessary approach to build business resilience, says Tan Ching Hwee, chair of the Association of Small & Medium Enterprises’ (Asme) sustainability action group.
