SGX’s new plan to draw new listings
January 2026 opens with something unusual in Singapore equities: optimism that isn’t immediately followed by an anxious glance at global headlines. With the Straits Times Index (STI) hitting fresh highs last year and long-awaited reforms finally about to land, the market feels caught between pride in 2025’s gains and curiosity about whether the real story is only just beginning.
