[SINGAPORE] Prime Minister Lawrence Wong is scheduled to deliver this year’s May Day Rally keynote address at around 10.15 am on Friday (May 1).
His first May Day speech since the 2025 General Election comes amid a climate of geopolitical uncertainty, rising energy prices and growing concerns over the impact of artificial intelligence on Singapore’s workforce.
National Trades Union Congress secretary-general Ng Chee Meng will first deliver the opening remarks at the rally, ahead of PM Wong’s speech.
