THERE are promising signs that a breakthrough agreement on fishing rights will lead to a trade accord between the UK and the European Union (EU) in the coming weeks.
Fishing rights have been one of the main hurdles in Brexit negotiations between the EU and the UK since March. Neither side seems willing to give way, despite growing concerns within the fishing industry should there be a "no-deal" Brexit.
