Malaysia-US trade likely to gain from Biden in White House: analysts
Kuala Lumpur
THE US presidential elections next week is not expected to change the amiable trade relations with Malaysia, although a win by Democratic candidate Joe Biden will likely create a more trade-friendly global environment that may further benefit exporters from the South-east Asian nation, analysts said.
Both countries have continued to enjoy a healthy bilateral trade in recent years with Malaysia running a relatively small trade surplus in world trade terms, even as US President Donald Trump has waged an aggressive war on bigger partners.
