Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 8.87 points, or 0.59 per cent, to 1,509.67 as at 9.04am.
Volume was 147.70 million lots worth about RM154.85 million. Gainers beat losers 219 to 52.
