Malaysia: Shares open higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.17 points, or 0.36 per cent, to 1,440.29 as at 9.03am.
Volume was 303.01 million lots worth about RM160.76 million. Gainers beat losers 307 to 76.
