'Supernormal' H2 earnings expected from Top Glove on virus-related demand: analyst
Singapore
TOP Glove Corp's earnings for the second half could be "substantially stronger" with the coming together of factors such as solid demand, a stronger US dollar versus the ringgit, as well as lower rubber costs, said Maybank IB Research in a report on Friday.
The report noted that the Malaysia-based glove manufacturer's earnings for the second quarter ended Feb 29, 2020, were better quarter-on-quarter without much contribution from the Covid-19 outbreak.
