Malaysia: Shares rise at Monday's open

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 4.88 points to 1,598.22 at 9.01am.
Volume was 87.47 million lots worth RM29.29 million.
Gainers beat losers 200 to 37.
