Malaysia: Shares close lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 12.31 points to 1,626.76.
Volume was 2.2 billion lots worth RM1.8 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 691 to 215.
