Singtel offers insurance cover in prepaid, remittance app services
It will bundle NTUC Income insurance coverage in these services, targeting large pool of foreign workers
Singapore
SINGTEL will begin bundling NTUC Income-provided insurance coverage into its prepaid phone and remittance services, in a move targeted at the large pool of foreign workers.
The telco is absorbing the insurance premiums as acquisition cost, in the hope that it will encourage cross-platform subscription to these services through its apps, and thus increase Singtel's market share.
