As consumer sector heats up, telcos gear for fiercer fight for business clients
AS Singapore's consumer mobile market gets absurdly crowded, established network operators may increasingly opt to turn to enterprise-related mobile business to fend off competition from mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs).
These incumbents - which have demonstrated over the years the strengths of their networks and service offerings to longtime corporate partners - have an advantage in wooing business customers for their mobile post-paid subscriptions.
The MVNO pond now teems with small fry that have failed to make much of a splash and trail in the wake of market pioneer Circles.Life and fibre operator MyRepublic.
