Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.84 points to 1,650.93 at 9am.
Volume was 30.34 million lots worth RM20.46 million.
Gainers beat losers 127 to 39.
