Tokyo: Stocks open lower on Thursday

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened lower on Thursday, following a negative lead from Wall Street as investors worried about mounting tensions in the US-China trade row.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index fell 0.57 per cent or 120.76 points to 20,882.61 in early trade while the broader Topix index was down 0.63 per cent ot 9.64 points at 1,526.77.
