Malaysia shares open higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.44 points to 1,690.85 at 9am.
Volume was 20.62 million lots worth RM8.03 million.
Gainers beat losers 73 to 35.
