Malaysia: Shares close higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 12.17 points to 1,706.38.
Volume was 1.8 billion lots worth RM1.9 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers 450 to 345.
