Europe: Stocks climb as miners to tech rise before G-20 summit

[LONDON] European stock markets advanced at the start of trading on Thursday.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index climbed nearly 0.6 per cent to 7,043.17 points compared with the close on Wednesday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index added 0.7 per cent to 11,377.21 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.9 per cent to 5,026.66.
