M1 soars above S$2.06 offer; key investor keeps options open

M1 flew up the actives list on Friday morning, in a punchy return to trading after a week-long break.
The telco jumped to an intra-day high of S$2.13 just after the opening bell, eventually closing up by S$0.48 or 29.4 per cent at S$2.11 - its highest finish since July last year.
