Petronas takes 25% stake in Canadian LNG project
Royal Dutch Shell leads proposed project with a 40 per cent stake
Kuala Lumpur
MALAYSIA'S Petroliam Nasional Bhd agreed to take a 25 per cent equity stake in a proposed liquefied natural gas project in Canada led by Royal Dutch Shell Plc.
The Canadian unit of Shell will hold a 40 per cent stake, while subsidiaries of PetroChina Co and Mitsubishi Corp will have a 15 per cent share each, according to a statement on Thursday from Petronas.
