LTA awards S$344m renewal works deal to Bombardier Singapore

THE Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded a S$344 million contract to overhaul the Bukit Panjang LRT (BPLRT) system to Bombardier Singapore, with works commencing in the first half of this year.
Commuters using the Bukit Panjang LRT (BPLRT) can expect more reliable rides from 2022, when the majority of works on the problematic line is completed.
